With somewhat of a monopoly on the walk in and local customers, this homebrew shop has a niche unlike many other beer or winemaking retail storefronts. Prices are significantly higher than typical homebrew stores but with other competition off the streets in Madison, WI people are willing to pay the higher price. The selection is like no other for homebrewing and winemaking and you will always find a very knowledgeable staffer willing to talk beer- or wine-shop with you for consultation. Well made custom beermaking ingredients kits are available on site and small grain mill available for use. Sometimes this retail location has used equipment for sale and decent sale prices on certain items. If you need some homebrewing or winemaking equipment or ingredient fast, you live in southern Wisconsin and can't wait for an order from Northern Brewer then this is the shop for you!
