linkWhy does it always seem that Come Back Inn is the last stop of a long day of drinking? Whether it is after the Great Taste or after a pubcrawl that started somewhere in the south east part of town, my group always seems to trickle down here at the end of the night.
I have had food here and most of my party was not excited about it, so we usually try to eat before hand or we just eat beer.
The Come Back has some sort of vibe going on where people get excited and start drinking out of boots and yard glasses. This, plus the fact that my visits have usually been late at night seem to add a bit of excitement to the whole visit.
The tap selection is nice, with a clear focus on craft regional beer. The beers are cheap and the glasses they are poured in are large. There is a trickle of oompa music when you walk past the adjoining door to the Essen Haus.
Overall, I think the Come Back is a fun place to visit. I wouldn't necessarily encourage you to eat there, but if you're at the Great Dane, it's only a short (downhill) stroll for a relaxed environment and a good selection of taps.
