Spider Bite has been making beer since around 2011, but just recently opened up a tasting room. They're located in a big building with several other businesses, and you have to drive about halfway up the left side to see their door. If the Spider Bite truck wasn't parked out front I may have driven right past the building.

They won an award for best brewery in NY State that they display proudly in their small, but effective tasting room. At first I thought it was a bit ridiculous, but as I've been to most other breweries in NY I'd put their beer solidly in the top 5 and possibly top 3 (Ommegang is the only one I can think of that I like better for sure, and a few others like Moustache, Roosterfish, and Saranac are of similar quality).

The owners were friendly, the beer was good, and parking was easy. They're a 30 minute drive from my house, so I'll be back soon.
