The Wrecking Bar is a pretty unique find as far as brewpubs go. It has a geniune ratskeller feel, which in America is quite a find. The cellar of an old Victorian mansion houses the servings of a 7bbl brewery under the skilled hand of brewmaster Chris Terenzi. The guy likes hops, his beers reflect this, though he ventures into Belgians as well. His brewing has a sense of humor, including a German IPA just to piss off the German beer purists, its pure tettnang goodness.
Food is upscale barfood and the burger is pure. Its not gimmicky and pretentious, just a badass freshly ground all American burger.
The pub is professional, family friendly, and a great place for everyone to enjoy a pint. Easily one of the top two brewpubs in Atlanta, The South. If you find yourself in Atlanta, stop by here, the Wrecking Bar will get you Wrecked.
Pints are available from 2.50 a half pint to 6.50 a pint, depending on style. Pricing is appropriate to styles which cost more to brew, no expensive gimmick beers.

New brewpub in Little 5 points. The brewpub is tucked down in the lower level of a restored old mansion and is very cozy. Usually at least 6 beers on tap with a cask firkin on most Fridays. There some unusual styles like German IPA and a California Common. All beers are spot-on style wise but the real star is the west coast style IPA- the brewer Chris Terenzi promises that eventually there will be at least 2 IPAs on at all times which should be great. Food is basic upscale bar food but well-executed. Along with the Porter L5P is now maybe the prime beer neighborhood in the ATL.
