This is a small upscale restaurant in a little shopping area, away from the main casino locations. There is a large semi-circular bar area with additional table seating and open wine storage racks on two walls. The adjacent dining area has both tables and booths plus there is an attractive patio with additional table seating out back. I ordered a Buckbean off the printed menu but it’s a good thing I consulted the server for my second pint. She not only new the current tap list (which was different) but entered into a lively discussion of the craft brewers they carried and their styles they did (and didn’t) have on tap. Only 6 of the 8 taps were operational when I visited and in addition to the Buckbean Vienna Lager, they included 2 other regional crafts, 2 imports and a BMC. The menu included an array of salads, small plates, bigger plates and pizza or baked entrees from the wood fired oven. Portions were relatively small but reasonably priced and well presented. This location is recently remodeled and is rebuilding it’s clientele but should provide good opportunities for food and beer (or wine) pairing as it matures.
