My wife and I were in LV for a convention of sorts over the labor day weekend, We had found Rosemary's via the beermapping project website and decided this looked like it would be right up our alley. We got in and called and made reservations and arrived at 7pm for dinner. We were greeted by a nice woman and taken to our table. A few minutes later the manager, Michael greeted us as he had taken my reservation over the phone a few hours prior.He said you're the man from Texas who likes beer. I answered in the affirmative and we chatted. well I found out that they had Tripel Karmaliet on tap which was a first in my book having only had it in the bottle. Several more followed and some outstanding food to go with. Great wine selection as well.

My wife and I had a great meal and the food and service couldn't have been better or more courteous. We were treated like royalty and the place was quite busy by the time we left. We were staying on the strip so it was a $50 round trip cab ride but well worth it!!


Great service very nice beer selection and as well as wine menu and outstanding food!!

Thanks to Beer Mapping for pointing out this gem to me!!

This was the highlight of my recent trip to Las Vegas. Unassumingly located in a strip mall, this place proves the old adage to never judge a book by its cover.

As you enter, you will see a cozy bar. The larger than expected dining rooms are located behind the bar room.

They have a large and well though out beer list with an emphasis on offerings from Belgium or their US counterparts. This was the best beer list I encounter while in Vegas. They list a short description of the beer and the ABV.

The food is fantastic. I started with a BBQ shrimp appetizer that was served over blue cheese coleslaw. I then had the wilted spinach salad and then had a perfectly seasoned and cooked prime rib eye. Desert was more beer and a yummy crème brule.

Note they suggest both wine & beer pairings on their menu.

Service was incredibly professional and the meal was well spaced.

Rosemary's Restaurant is a terrific restaurant that places food and beverages over name and image. This is my favorite Vegas restaurant.

The exterior of Rosemary's is nondescript. It's strip mall location hides the jewel inside. The interior is understated as well. The lighting is dim, and old classic jazz plays softly in the background.

The menu changes seasonally, and there are also nightly specials. Ordering is ala carte, three course prix fixe, or five course meal. Go all out and get the five course meal with beer pairings, it's worth it.

The beer menu isn't huge, but it's very well selected. Belgian ales are heavily represented. Another surprise was Sierra Nevada Saison. (they're one of the only places you'll find it.) Beer is served in proper glassware, and for many of the Belgian beers, it's own specific glass. Rosemary's Restaurant has given beer equal billing to wine since before it was trendy.

An evening at Rosemary's isn't cheap, but compared to other restaurants of this caliber, it's very reasonable. I recommend it from my beercentric perspective.
