Ellis Island Brewey and Casino. This is a small casino in Vegas one main block from the strip. It's kind of a gloomy or "dark" Casino style of place. The beer is good and at $2 a pint how can you go wrong? Anyways, this seems like a locals' type place. They have really good prices on food such as ribs, pizza and sandwiches. The IPA I had was clean and Malty, not a ton of hops but still a good beer. At $2 I will certainly have another. The food is served in a small restaurant in the back. I have been here several times and is the 3rd best brewery in Las Vegas after Tenaya Creek and Chicago Brewing Company.

Went here about a year ago with a consultant that knew I enjoyed a good brewpub. At least he tried. I tried a couple of their offering and didn't find either very good. It is a casino more than a brewpub and the smoke was thicker than a London fog! We ended up splitting after 2 beers and although I have been back in Vegas several times since going here, its not on my list for a stop.

I’m on board with the previous reviewers here; great prices and just decent house brew. We actually walked over from our hotel on the strip but it was a bit of a trek on a cold evening. In our case, the steak dinner special included a pint of beer so I don’t know what the brews actually cost. I had the Black Lager which went down fine with the steak and baked potato. The brew room is near the front and visible through glass windows from the pizza parlor. The casino bar was busy and 5 of the 6 house brew taps were operating when we visited. The main dining areas are located toward the back of the casino and are a bit smoky by association. Service in the dining room was very slow so I didn’t get a second pint before we headed back to the strip.

This place is located about two blocks off the strip attached to a Super 8 Motel. Definitely has an old school vegas vibe with cheap food and drinks (pints are $1.50). They don't offer samplers. They have 5 beers on tap, I tried the stout and amber, both were decent but nothing fabulous. Can't beat the price or location but not the greatest place. If you buy a logo glass you get a free beer.

Ellis Island is fairly close to the strip. Parking was good, they have a small lot in the front but have a parking garage in the back. It is a bit old and run down, but nothing too bad.

I sat at the bar in the casino area. The staff was friendly. Their beer was $1 a pint. The light tasted like my first attempt at a lager, drinkable but not very good. The Amber was much better, and the American Hefeweizen was good too; I didn't try the stout.

This is great place to get a cheap beer.

Ellis Island was one of our favorites in Vegas. Easy parking right outside the door, the restaurant is located inside the casino. We actually found this place because it is consistently on the top 10 best values in Vegas (at lasvegasadvisor.com) for their $4.95 steak dinner (includes a 10 oz filet cut steak, salad, vegetable, potato - available 24 hours a day). For that price we weren't expecting the best piece of meat but it was actually really good!!!
I wouldn't call the beer outstanding but it was definitely decent and a total steal (less than $2 a pint). They only had 4 kinds on tap. Amber, Light, Heffe, and a stout.
The casino allows smoking but the restaurant does not. The place is really laid back, kinda trashy but in a fun way. Service was a little slow because the waiter was slammed but we weren't in a hurry so didn't mind at all.
If you go to Vegas, do not miss this place!
