One of my favorite places to visit in Las Vegas! Love the busy, exciting atmosphere, and the bartenders and waitresses are very friendly.
The beer is amazing. They always have their lager (above average), dunkel (excellent), and hefeweizen (near perfect) on tap and sometimes a seasonal, which could be Octoberfest, Dunkelweizen, or Maibock (at 7-8% ABV, keep track of how many liters you drink of this!). Wish they had just one or two more styles on tap.
I find their beer prices to be moderate because many bars and casinos in Las Vegas charge $5 for Bud Lite (or free while gambling). Also, the Hofbrauhaus beer is brewed in Germany and shipped to Las Vegas, so that factors into the beer price.
Food is just ok, but I recommend you try their soft pretzels with all of their condiments.

Went there a couple of months back for a business dinner after a meeting. Nice big tables, but a tad noisy. Good thing we were there to eat and drink. Good beers, great polkas, and tasty food, but watch out for the shots!! Seems if you order one the waitress (who is dressed like Sandra Bullock in Ms. Congeniality) gets to paddle you. Only hits you once, but this is no love tap!! This is a full on, high speed, swing out of your shoes golf shot!

Love this place, spendy but for special occasions it's great. It's like as my drunken buddy said "like a wormhole to Stockholm." Munich buddy, Munich. Long tables, you can have a ton of people there in your party. The Dunkel is my fav.
They have some contests and a polka band there, I"m sure it's Munich lite, but there's some drinking songs sung and standing on the furniture going on at times. And some contests the band hosts.

Viva Las Vegas, anyplace else and this place would fall on its face. Overpriced food, overpriced beer (however tasty bber) and a full on tourist trap feel to the place. Supposed to be an exact replica of the Hofbrauhaus in Munich. I'd say it is close but no cigar. Condiments on the table are a sure sign you are in the USA and not the Fatherland. Only 3 beers available.

I have to say, I really enjoyed visiting the Hofbrauhaus. I went with a group of over 7 people, and we got right in. We were a bit rambunctious, but that didn’t seem to bother the staff. The band was very good and the atmosphere was electric, much better than some lame Vegas lounge if you ask me. The staff was polite, and service prompt. Although it is expensive, what in Vegas isn’t. I will be returning, and look forward to visiting the Cincinnati and Munich locations later this year.

Since I have been at the original in Munich, I was anxious to give this place a whirl to see how it stacks-up.
This is a large place and you can’t miss it. I like that it’s a short walk from the Hard Rock Casino.
When you enter the front door there is a small bar to your left and a gift shop to your right.
We were quickly seated in the large restaurant/beer hall. The place is bright airy and very clean. It is nicely decorated and has a large stage in the front. The also have a very nice 2 story faux beer garden in back.
When we arrived the band was in full swing. Nice music to have a few beers to! They made sure the slightly older crowd was (it was a Monday evening) was having fun. They did lots of audience participation numbers and even led a large group on a conga line through the building. The line was led by a huge German man waving the Munich colors.
They have a nice German menu. The only downside was that our food arrived like 8 minutes after we ordered which tells me they have huge amounts already prepared. Still though, my Jager Schnitzel was pretty tasty.
The service was fast and friendly. The servers all are dressed in German inspired outfits. They even have a strolling pretzel girl.
They had four beers on-tap during my visit instead of the usual three. We were there for Oktoberfest, so they were offering the Hofbrau O-fest as a seasonal.
All-in-all, this was a fun stop. While not quite as big or raucous as its Munich big brother, I really recommend a visit while in Las Vegas. This is a great change of pace when your sick the mega casinos.

They usually have only 3 or 4 beers to pick from, they're decent but far from outstanding, and their prices are nothing short of outrageous. The food is okay, but the servers are extremely rude. I've been to every place in Las Vegas that serves their own beer on multiple occasions, and this is the only one that I could not recommend to a friend. In my opinion, it's the most overhyped, overrated place to get a beer in town.

The place is really cool and makes a real effort to be true to the original in Munich. One thing similar to the HB in Munich and different from the one in Cincy is that the band is allowed to drink while playing. This definitely loosens them up and adds to the atmosphere.
The one real negative is the price. The place is just plain expensive. $11 for a liter of beer and the food is also pricey.
The Dunkles and HefeWeizen were both solid.
Both bands playing the different times we went were great. The music being played by the oom-pa-pa bands ranged from traditional polkas and marches, Achy-Breaky Heart, something by the Scorpions… and the theme song from Hogans Heroes.. :o
All in all the place is a hoot and worth a trip… If you want to save a few bucks, eat somewhere else first and maybe also have a few beers.
