Started our last day in Vegas with a pint at Nine Fine Irishmen. It was just a quick stop for a round, but it was a pleasant visit. The room was paneled in dark wood with the bar towards the left, a stairway to the right and a few tables in between.

The tap selection was what I expect to see in irish-style pubs. Guinness, Smithwick's, Harp, Bud, Bud-light, and Shocktop Wheat. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Service was friendly and it was a fun, laid-back early afternoon scene. The pints were poured perfectly and the music volume was good for conversation.

We didn't eat, but the pub fare looked and smelled delicious. If you're looking for an upscale pub on the strip, this is worth a visit.

(The ESPN Zone is no more, but it was still a sportsbar)

Once you’re inside, this pub restaurant takes you away from the casino and makes you feel like you’ve stepped across the pond. The inside feels warm and cozy, doing a good job of replicating the compact layout and furnishings of an upscale Irish Pub. There some very ornate bars with a selection of stouts and several other brews. Dinner seating is on two levels and in smaller rooms with tables and other furnishings to give it that cozy feel. The menu features a fair array of Irish dishes as well as several favored over here but the pricing is a quite bit more than pub fare. Parking is free in the casino garage and the south monorail stops just across the sky bridge (the main monorail is a bit of a walk in back of MGM).
