Maui BC is on the second floor of the Holiday Inn Resort in Waikiki. Current access is up the escalator to the hotel lobby then right and left into the restaurant. In the future, there will be a separate street entrance near the adjacent International Market Place shopping complex. The restaurant is a large mostly open area adjacent to a table game deck and the hotel pool. There is a long 0-shaped bar to the left with some booth seating behind and a large dining area out front. Several roll up glass doors separate the covered lanai from the main room but they are usually open so the whole area feels like a patio. There are double banks of 36 taps through the center of the bar, with about a 10 guest brews and the remainder being Maui Brews (5 standards & 15 limited production) when we visited. I enjoyed Haleakala SunRyes, Black Rock Lager and Imperial Coconut Porter. The food menu is varied, casual local appetizers as well as pizza, burgers and big plate offerings. Parking is available (partial validation) in the hotel valet lot and also in the Market Place garage off Kuhio Ave. There are also the Bus service and numerous Waikiki trolleys out front. Service was by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Pricing was fairly typical for Waikiki.
