Arrived on a Saturday afternoon to sample the beers from one of the newest breweries in the St. Louis area. They have five beers on tap right now. We ordered a four-beer sampler and a pint of the Irish Stout. The stout was great but the real winner was the Hefeweizen. It was probably the best Hefe I’ve had since I left Bavaria twenty years ago! The tap room is open three days a week so check their web site to make sure they are open. It’s not a very big place but with several tables and a small bar area it’s perfect. Everyone liked the chalk drawing of the brewing process. The service was excellent with Ryan and Lindsay, the owners, serving at the bar and tables respectively. They don’t have food service but while they are open a food truck from Frankly Sausages is there providing great food. They have a 15 barrel system with plenty of room for expansion. They have a small bottling line, keg their beer for distribution around the area, and have growlers to go. Can’t wait to get back there and have some more beer!
