First time there, went on a whim with spouse, who is a great beer aficionado.
He had the Wag's Wheat, a nice but not amazing wheat (it could have used a slice of orange to punch up the flavor, in my opinion)
I had the Bock, which I loved. It had a nice head, was rich and malty, easy to drink. Not bold. A great "beginner" bock.
First time I have considered a growler to take home.
Foodwise: husband had a flatbread pepperoni pizza which was spicy, crisp and had a nice red sauce lightly over all. I had the Italian nachos-basically pizza stuff on flatbread chips. Came with a good fresh red sauce for dipping. The stuff gloops together when cold, so eat them hot. It was good enough that leftovers were consumed within 24 hours straight from the fridge.
A bit pricey, but the food was good, the service was great (some servers DO NOT know their beers so be aware). It was fancy for a brewery, and family-friendly.
Final opinion: if you have the whole family in town and want a nice place for a meal, this is a great place. TV's with football for those who want to watch, but a low noise level. Huge food selection-even for vegetarians. And unscary but tasty, interesting beers. This is especially good if there is a beer beginner who is curious.

My travel buddy and I had dinner last night at the Creve Coeur GC. It was our first time at a GC location and we were impressed. The place was very comfortable, the service was great as was the food. Our waiter was very hospitable and had good recommendations. We both had a stout (nitrogen tap) and their bock. Both were very good. Not a lot of beers on the menu, but it appeared they are after quality. A very pleasent experience.

This brewpub is part of a chain of brewpubs throughout the midwest. Their beer is all brewed at a central location, then shipped to the different pubs and fermented on-site (so maybe brewpub is a misnomer here). The food is quite good, although for the most part the beer selection is a bit lacking. Their IPA is average, as is their stout; however their Bock is a phenomenal beer. I rarely drink anything else there. Their beer menu is also quite thorough and informative, listing ingredients and starting gravities
