After entering and seeing wine at the far end, I went past the checkout, no beer...did a lap around the store and finally found the beer aisle. When you walk in, take a hard left before the checkout, into aisle 9.

The beer is mostly in an open cooler, with a small display rack holding more craft on the right hand side. There are some quality imports on the left side, then a Wide Sargasso Sea of macros, and craft on the far right side. Around 50 options was my count...Bells, Arcadia, Goose, Rogue, Magic Hat, fairly typical stuff. They had 22's of 312.

If you are getting groceries here, by all means get beer here, but it's not a destination. If you're headed to a BYO place nearby, it's convenient for that reason. The guy behind the little liquor dept. desk gave a friendly hello, and it faces the beer aisle if you need to quiz somebody about beer here.

In a recent walkabout around this section of town I found my way into the Lincoln Park Supermarket, care of, it was on the beermapping list... I'm usually a skeptic about grocery stores that offer beers, or more to the point, a craft beer selection, but this place was good, not a destination mind you, but good for what it was.

Beer selection is rather interesting from a security standpoint... has a garage door system that i'm sure closes and beeps to prevent theft when the store is closed. But the beer is in the middle and at the end... and goose, arcadia, kalamazoo, and a handful of other local common craft beers... was just sorta surprised at the actual selection. Not a destination, but a in the area, need a beer place.

Atmosphere is atypical family owned, old grocery store... so sorta crappy and sorta not.

service was nominal, tho i didn't expect any and honestly... if you're reading this far, neither did you... it's a grocery store for gods sake.

not bad, but not great.
