Went here with some friends from out of town, and saw the 10:30 improv show downstairs. The beer selection was decent, but definitely nothing to write home about. It was in a basement with no windows, and a long stage for the improv performers. Seating was mostly tables, but there was a fairly long bar in the back that sat 15-20.

On draft the most interesting things were Metro Dynamo and Goose Matilda. The only other Goose beers they had were Honkers and 312, which was the "seasonal". The bottled selection was ok, with a craft/micro side of the list, and a macro/swill side. It was sort of middle of the road mass appeal stuff that wasn't exciting but more utilitarian. Didn't notice any 3 Floyds on the menu. Minus all the macros, there were maybe 15 decent bottles to choose from. The draft beer was in a Bud Light glass, but thankfully not a plastic cup. Our server Mackenzie was quick and friendly. This isn't really a beer destination, but you could get by if you went to a show here with your friends.

The Improv Olympic theater has a small stage and a small bar where you can order some fairly decent beer. I've only been here twice, but there are always a few interesting selections available.

Both times I have visited, Robert the Bruce was available on tap as well as at least one "safe" option from Goose Island and Two Brothers. The selection itself isn't enough to make you show up here, but the selection, plus the entertainment is great. There are quite a few bottled beers on top of the 10 or so draft choices.

The theater when I have attended has been general admission so you should make sure you are close to an aisle near the bar in order to have easy access to your next pint. Or you can actually just sit at the bar and watch the show!

Parking here is street parking and it isn't so hot. I suggest taking the red line or possibly just cabbing it in this neighborhood.
