linkDriven by 100 times and never stopped. Oktoberfest in full effect, with a roving band of horn players and an accordionist doing Ein Prosit for the bar and dining area.
Took about 15 minutes to get a beer at an empty bar.
Hofbrau and Spaten Oktoberfest, Weihenstephaner Dunkel & Vitus, Trumer Pils, Hacker Pschorr, about 16 taps total.
There was an intangible sense that the staff were ruled by an iron fist, and some disturbing comments about the management being creepy. Service was fine otherwise, just harried and distracted.
Overall Laschet’s & Resi’s are far superior, this place feels like a bygone era for the older set.
