There are good things to be said about D&D, but my experiences there have been less than stellar. I'd have to echo the previous comment, about it being a dump.

Selection is the only thing that the place has going for it, if you like the standard imports from around the world. Craft selection is decent too, but they really don't take care of the beer. Anything on the shelf is dusty, and I've gotten skunked brew from the cooler before. Prices are high, usually $10-12 for import sixers. If you are looking for a cheaper place nearby to pick up beer, head east on Division to Sahar.

Service is nonexistent. If you're lucky you might catch an icy stare, as if telepathically commanding you to "buy and get out".

EDIT 2007: The place seems to have cleaned up some, rotating their stock, and increasing selection. New Holland, Lagunitas, and extra Great Lakes have been added, with a couple GI reserve options on the shelf. A few Belgians scattered around, Duvel, DeKoninck, DT, and Lindemans. Still ain't cheap or friendly though...oh well.

If you drive here, don't leave the lot, or you'll get a boot. It's a total tow trap i've heard...

2009: Got shorted a dollar in change for a bottled water. Probably won't be going back here ever again due to the unscrupulous staff and high prices.
