Bier Markt was a great place. Looks like it gets crowded with the after work crowd. In the summer there is an outside area right on the street. The inside had a really nice bar and plenty of tables with a hostess to seat you if you want a table.

The beer list was extensive (basically giving you a little booklet). The bartenders were helpful with recommendations if you gave them some ideas of what you typically like to drink. (I thought the bartender recommendation was appropriate for what my friend liked.)

Beer selection was strong and it was a nice place to enjoy a beer. Sometimes service can be a tad slow, but that is just because it gets crowded in there, not due to a lack of attention. Worthwhile stop if you are looking for somewhere to go.
