The Bier Markt was my only beercentric stop on my whirlwind tour of Toronto. This place is sleek and silky. It's an upscale restaurant/bar. Service is very solid, but not amazing. The food looked quite good, but we had dinner reservations elsewhere. I can't speak much about pricing. The prices are higher than what I see in the states, but I don't know how it compares to other Toronto beer destinations.

The main theme here is Belgian Ale. Most of the beer menu is Belgian brewed or inspired. Canada is also well represented, but the rest of the world is an afterthought. (The only US craft beers I saw were from Rogue)

It's worth a visit, especially if you love Belgian beer.
