As of 2012, McKenzie Brew House has three locations (Chadds Ford, Malvern, and Devon), all in PA. I visited Devon, the third and newest location, in summer 2012. It is just south of Valley Forge National Park and minutes from the sprawling King of Prussia mall. The beer sampler was good, which was consistent with their other brewhouses. Their beers are typically average in strength, but nicely flavorful. Of their standard offering, I recommend the American Pale Ale, Saison Vautour farmhouse ale, and Belgian style Wit. They also have English Brown Ale, Oatmeal Stout, and a Light beer. The restaurant has a dining room, and the stainless steel brewing vessels are visible through large windows. The bar room has a 32-chair marble-top island bar, several small booths, and a very small stage for a live duo band to play on weekend nights. Earth tone grey and yellow walls and stonework fireplaces create a cozy atmosphere. The food menu is diverse with plenty of choices. It is worth a visit for a meal and beer sampler.
