Despite living in south Jersey, I've been going over the river and through Philly to Wayne, Pa to hit the Beeryard for a few years. They have a great selection. I prefer a place that posts it prices, but that doesn't happen here, so if you have a budget set for your run (which I do, but I usually exceed it anyway), you have to constantly ask. That is about the only drawback from a top score. So, it is a warehouse set up, but heck, so is Bell's Beverage on Front St. in Philly. If you want to carry a lot of beer, you need to use your space wisely. If you truly need atmosphere, leave the Beeryard, turn left and at the second light, turn right to visit Teresa's Next Door. You'll be happy - try the mussels, they are tasty.

An excellent place to buy beer (by the case only, thanks to PA's antiquated alcohol laws). Huge selection of micros and imports. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful, although they can be distracted by the masses coming in for suitcases of . Wide selection of glassware for sale also. The only downside is the aforementioned alcohol laws--it can be tricky to experiment with something new if you have to commit to an entire case of it. Fortunately, I never hit any duds.

Beeryard can be hard to find, since it's hidden behind "the round Starbucks". Atmosphere: basically it's a warehouse, what more do you expect?
