The Brewery at Lake Tahoe. This is a cool brewery located near the shores of South Lake Tahoe. It's an extract Brewery but the beers are all good. It has a separate restaurant area which is family friendly. I stop by here often when in the area. Today I tried the Palisades Pilsner, It has a Nice lite hop aroma and clean malt, Lite gold color and just some slight cloudiness. This is a good beer just wish it had a little more hop aroma and flavor, but it is well balanced. Next I tried the IPA. It had a nice clean hop aroma, and it had a nice hop flavor backed by some good malt. We had some chicken nachos which were good and spicey but a little pricey, but what isn't these days especially in a tourist area? They do sell pint glasses for you collectors. This brewery is kind of hard to find but well worth checking ou if you are in the area

Nice little brew shack down the road and away from most of the hubub of the busy casino area of town. Looks to be a house that has been converted with add on rooms for the kitchen and brewery.

A few tables inside and several out on a front patio. The bar sits about a dozen people. Pizza appeared to be the popular food item.

Eight beers on tap when I visited. Good, but nothing special or exotic. Samplers available.

This was my third visit to this place in the past 12 months, and I was please to see that issues I had detected prior, were no longer evident. In past visits, there was a cleanliness issue with the beers, which detracted from the beers. During this visit, we tried the IPA, a brown ale, and pale ale, and lastly the amber ale. During this visit, they were out of the Pilsner and wheat.
I found all of the beers to be clean and flavorfull. The colors of all of theses were very close, which I thought was a little odd, but the flavors were different. The beers were enjoyed by all.
The food was great, good selection and portions. And our wait staff was friendly and attentative.

I first visited here at least 10 years ago and I've stopped by twice in the last 6 months. There is a small bar area next to the tanks with a few tall tables. Most of the seating is in separate dining rooms or at outside tables next to the highway. The menu boasts a good selection of standards and seasonals but only a few have been availabile when I've visited. Their signature beer is Bad Ass Ale which is a nice dark amber and has been around almost as long as the pub (I have a shirt to prove it). Their pizza is good and they also have typical pub grub. Service on my recent visits was marginal. There is a small parking lot in back.
