linkThe Saloon is a modern bar located adjacent to the spa/hot spring area in the David Walley resort complex. There is a medium size bar in the main room along with standard table seating plus a separate room with some lounge seating and an outside patio area. There are six taps that were all regional crafts when I visited. I enjoyed the 1862 Irish Red (reportedly brewed by High Sierra in Carson City) as well as the Angel Creek Amber from Ruby Mountain (my favorite ranch/brewery). There was also a reasonable selection of bottled crafts/imports in addition to a few BMCs. The food menu included some typical pub food items as well as an array of exotic meat burgers (first Camel burger I've ever seen). The bar is also associated with the 1862 Restaurant which has an full dinner menu with many upscale entrees. Unfortunately the Saloon is only open in the evenings and the on site Harriet's cafe has only a limited brew selection to accompany lunch. There is ample parking in the resorts lot out front.
