The Feisty Goat just opened at the end of last month. The word was they had some nice taps so we drove over to check it out. It was a bit hard to find but it’s just a block off US50 in east Carson City. Turn in the driveway by their sign and drive to the last shop in the strip. Guinness in the window is the sign that you’re there.
It’s a small pub but it does have 10 taps with a nice selection of regional microbrews. When I visited the list included Rogue Dead Guy & Kells, Stone Arrogant Bastard, North Coast Old Rasputin and Great Basin Ichthyosaur in addition to Pabst, Guinness and other imports. The bar is comfortable and the table seating area includes some upholstered chairs and benches. There is no real food service but it’s a comfortable place to relax and enjoy some good brew. One of the owners is usually behind the bar.
