linkThis is a nice place in a remote location. I’m guessing it’s been expanded since the previous review. They have a bar seating area, a general restaurant are and outside seating. It’s steps away from the Arkansas River.
They had about 10 beers on tap. I had an IPA and a stout. Both were clean, to style and enjoyable. Had I not been driving, I would have tried a few more.
The menu is largely pizzas and local beef. I tried a pizza, which was good.
It’s definitely family friendly. There were several families around me in the outdoor seating.
If I'm ever in the area again, I'll likely go back, but Buena Vista is not someplace I frequent.

linkSo once again my wife and I stopped at this place on our way home to Denver. This was right after we left Amicas in Salida. My sister had once been here and brought me home a growler. It was a little flat but then again it was 3 days or so old. When we got into town we had trouble finding the place as we didn't have the right address. They had moved and it wasn't updated online here. It is a very small place now. My sister had said that they were rather large because it was more like a restaurant with a lot of seating. The new place though small is very inviting and if you want to call it more personal for the beer lovers. Its more like a tap room now with the bar right as you walk in and it has 4 tables. The sampler of beer they had including 6 beers two of which were seasonals. The Raspberry Wheat was awesome and not to sweet. The Stout was also great. A lot of coffee flavor. They did have food but I can't review on it as we did not have any. We dd however see a lot of plates coming out to the occupied table (the other 3) and they looked amazing. Next time we are in we will have to eat. This place was definitely worth going to! We asked the server why they had moved and she told us that they needed room to start their canning line. So this is a good thing! Canned beer from them. Hopefully it will be available in Denver.
