Asked to leave after browsing the whiskey selection. No prices on the shelf, no staff offered help or acknowledged me. I picked up a couple bottles to look for the prices, and was immediately approached by a condescending manager and asked to leave. When I asked why, he said "you were walking back and forth picking up bottles".

Sure i'll leave, douchebag. I'll take my business elsewhere and let the internet know about your hostile, condescending staff that openly discriminates against their customers. With so many other options around, there's no need to patronize such a place.

2010:
I've been here twice in the past year or so, they have definitely improved their selection and emphasis on beer. The interior has exposed brick and beams, with nice wood flooring.

Once inside, on the right there are tall shelves with warm beer, and a few glassware items, namely Maredsous, DeKonick, and Unibroue. Lots of Belgians on the shelf, many are also available in the coolers further back. They have set up a circular wine rack on the center floor, completely decked out in Belgian 750s...at the top is the spendy gem Scaldis Prestige. Also on this rack was spotted Malheur Dark Reserve, at a lower price than Prestige ($24). Others such as St. Bernardus, Gouden Caroulus, Piraat, many of the usual suspects.

In the coolers, most of the craft 6 packs and bombers could be located. The newly expanded Arcadia line (5), Great Lakes (5), 3 Floyds (3), Goose Island Reserve year-rounds, plus many more that have already been mentioned. There were a fair amount of import singles as well, such as Erdinger & Okocim Palone.

Checkout was friendly enough. Prices were in line with the area. Also worth a look is Printers Row Wine/Spirits, 2 blocks away on Dearborn.
