2007:
This location of the regional chain has some focus on quality micros and seasonals. Once upon a time I found a few nice import singles (german, belgian) i haven't seen elsewhere.

Their designated beer area is now relatively small, and no longer competitive with the nearby Binny's on Grand.

Service was adequate, an employee stocking the cooler section was helpful with my questions. The majority of the beer is refrigerated on open cooler shelves, but an adjacent shelf had a good selection of six packs & singles as well. Stock seemed to be well cared for, and moves fairly quickly.

UPDATE 3-6-06
After revisiting this location, the beer section has been completely rearranged and scaled down by 1/3 or so. kind of sad. maybe they beef up the selection in the warmer months...

June 2007 visit: Beer is still located in an "endcap" aisle cooler, and around the left side there are singles, mostly imports. The selection is still short and sweet, but there is some quality stuff to be had like Abt 12, Hennepin, DT, the regular stuff. There's also GLBC, 3 Floyds, & New Belgium.
