linkThis brew pub sits right on Main street in downtown Ventura. The location is great, and you can sit outside, have a couple beers, and people watch to your hearts content. Very relaxing atmosphere. The inside is long and narrow, with the bar going most of the length of the room.
The menu is roughly pub food, but maybe a bit more sophisticated. The quality of the food is definitely above average for pub food. I really like the creme brule.
The beer is good, but not great. The IPA is nice for those that like hoppy beers, and the seasonal pumpkin has a nice spice to it. The red is tasty, but was a bit sweet for my liking.
