This is another Dallas brewery with a tasting room. They have a game area with pinball machines. They do not make hoppy beers but concentrate on the styles I tried below. They describe their brewery as making malty beers and that is true.
Highpoint-Porch Ale was the first beer I tried and was a lite English mild ale. It was malty and creamy and not hoppy at all. The next beer I had was the Cannoneer Bold amber which had some caramel malt notes and a creamy mouthfeel. This is really a good beer just a little low in hops for us West coast style drinkers. The next beer was their Texikaner Black Lager. This is a malty beer with creaminess as well, really well done. Next I tried their Sixth Floor Easy Porter. This is another good malty beer with good creaminess and low hops. The next beer was their Sixth Floor Imperial Porter. You can smell the alcohol in this one. This is another really good beer, and a great one to finish with.

This is a good brewery, but not if you are seeking hoppy beers. If you want malty beers with no or low hops this is the place.

$10 for a pint glass is the most I have ever paid! But the glass is etched and kinda cool.
