7 Hills occupies part of a five story brick and concrete building at the Canal Crossing complex. There are several businesses and places to eat nearby. Limited parking is free along the street, or they are a pay lots nearby. Along the brick sidewalk are large windows which allow you to see the brewery inside. In the front left corner are their midsize stainless steel brewing vessels. Enter under the green awning. The interior is a very long rectangular room, with a long row of tables on the right and high top tables in the center. On the left is a long straight 30-chair wooden bar. It is mirror backed with shelves of a large liquor selection, and several televisions for sports. They have 5 house beers on tap, which are available by glass, sampler flight, or growler. These are decent, and their best seems to be the Brown Ale. They also have a half-dozen guest taps of well chosen craft beer to round out their offering. The place has a brown concrete floor and an exposed black ceiling. Incandescent bulbs are hanging over the bar, and windows allow in plenty of light. The walls are pale yellow and the side wall has large retractable windowed garage doors that open to a narrow elevated sidewalk patio with several tables. The place has nice social atmosphere with subdued background music. Their bar fare menu consists of appetizers, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and a couple pub entrees. The spiral cut cheese fries are delicious. Not a bad place. The house beer and food is adequate, and the staff is affable.
