I visited the brewery location in Midlothian VA. The restaurant/brewery is in a shopping area with fairly easy access to major highways. The place offered a flight of four 5 oz samples of their products. The price for the flight was just over $5, a lot of beer for a reasonable price. I tried their Red Ale, Pilsner, Helles Bock and Oaty Stout. All were drinkable and I especially liked the Oaty Stout. The Stout had a wonderful chocolate and coconut aroma and rich mocha flavor. The food was good and my wife stated that the ribs were meaty and excellent. They currently brew 5 styles of beer and from their website it seems that they have seasonals available. With the combination of beer and barbecue pork I will definitely go back.

I unfortunately did not go to this location- Extra Billys has a second smokehouse only location on W. Broad St near Glen Allen, VA. Don't go for the beer at this location, its just macro beer selections.

The BBQ was excellent though, the smoker works well! I tried the pork and beef brisket sampler - this is really sweet BBQ which is provided on the side, so you can enjoy simply smoked meat if you prefer that way.


And the service is extremely has and friendly.
