There were only two real ales on our visit - Wells Bombardier and Greene King IPA (although it looked like there is normally another tap).

The pub is low-key, comfortable, and mostly modern but with a few older touches - e.g., tall ceilings with plaster moulding, a fireplace with an antique Victorian-style mirror, and a fairly old dark wooden bar. Otherwise it’s basic wooden floors, mix & match tables, couches, padded settles, and wooden chairs. There are several separate seating areas. In the front there is a table surrounded by a long couch and chairs directly in front of a large bay window and lit by a large crystal chandelier. In the back there are more couches and the fireplace. One feature that stands out are the red glass lozenge-shaped lamps hanging over the bar.
