linkLocated not far from downtown, Ingersoll Wine and Spirits has a healthy selection of beer, somewhere between 300-400, according to the nice guy I spoke with. I'd say his estimation was about right. They have a good supply of local beer as well as high gravity offerings, the latter a bit of a treat, since Iowa has peculiar laws requiring anything above 6% to go the through the state. It's a hassle, and Ingersoll has gone to the trouble. There's no amazing atmosphere to speak of here, just aisles of beer, wine and liquor in a clean, utilitarian store. It gets the job done.
