We stopped here during GABF week after drinking a pint at Falling Rock. We were looking for appetizers or something to tide us over until the Friday night session.

The ChopHouse hit the spot. The beers were served quite cold, and some of the styles seemed a bit bland and lacking in flavor. But overall we had a good experience here. We had a few of the appetizers and sampled most of the beers.

Our bartender was nice but not very knowledgeable about the beers they offered. I would not go out of my way to skip past Wynkoop to get here, but if I were looking to have a big business dinner, or looking to avoid some of the crowd in Denver, I would check out the ChopHouse.

The ChopHouse is about 5 or 6 short blocks from the end of the free 16th Street Shuttle. It is really easy to turn a trip to Wynkoop or Falling Rock into a mini pubcrawl by adding the ChopHouse to the itinerary.
