I visited Epic Brewing on a Friday afternoon. They’ve only been open a few weeks at the Denver location but they’ve been brewing there for about five months. They have 25 beers on tap and brew a total of 43 beers, one of the beers on tap is gluten free. My favorite named beer is Escape to Colorado IPA. Their imperial stout was the best I tasted. Samplers are $5 for three 2-ounce beers and $2 each for individual samples, tasters are free. They have a 20 bbl system with 80 bbl fermenters and also have some barrel aging going on. Firkins are available during the week. They have bottles to-go and growlers are $6 deposit with $10-20 for fills depending on the beer. They don’t have food service but do have limited snacks and sodas. There is also a food truck outside every day. There is plenty of room at the bar and several tables around the tap room. They have TVs but no free Wi-Fi. Tours are available Thursday to Sunday; check the web site for details. There’s plenty of parking on the street around the brewery.
