Not sure why Lakewood is on here unless it's because of the mead that they sell. I don't believe I've had it as I tend towards drier wines & such. However, I will say that this is one of our favorite stops on Seneca Lake. The people are friendly and the wines are good. My favorite wine is the Long Stem Red, a "Heinz 57" varieties blend. Great with grilled meats and by itself. Not overly tannic, just enough astringency. The port is also a winner and the Rieslings (regular & dry) and the Gewurz are nice as well. My score on beer selection reflects wine, NOT beer. Looking forward to another trip soon!
