Standard beer selection with the inclusion of Flying Dog. I'm from Chicago, so I was impressed to see Flying Dog every where in Baltimore, but it's a local brew which explains the footprint. Still impressive to me that they get their name out there like that in Baltimore because you have to go to high quality beer bars to find their beers in Chicago.

The food was awesome. They have an Asian selection (maybe leveraging the market across the street). I had the crab pretzel (which I understand is served everywhere) but I really liked the one from MaGerks. There are a ton of bars in the area and if you are looking for selection you can go to other places, but if you want to watch sports and have good bar food MaGerks is a good find.

MaGerk's Pub is unimpressive. A standard set of about 12 beers on tap with a very modest selection of beers in bottles. There are two sides to the bar with an upstairs section above the 2nd section of the bar. In the early evening, the bar was fairly crowded with a youngish "Miller Lite" crowd. If you're interested in hitting on woman between the age of 21-25, then head for this pub. If you're interested in tasting some beer, go to the Dog pub or the Ropewalk.

The bar serves up some nice sushi if you're interested.
