I went back here for the first time in a while last night. The good that has happened since my last visit was that the beer menu (that only gets printed periodically) now has a nice insert (that was printed within a week or so) that listed what was new, what was running low, and what was gone. This is the first time I have EVER ordered a beer at any Taco Mac and not had them come back and say, "I'm sorry we're out of that." That was a very nice change.

The beer selection is massive as always, however this is certainly not a "no crap on tap" establishment. With that said, there's certainly enough good stuff to keep a beer nerd interested. I had an Oskar Blues Money Shot Pils and a Rogue I2PA. Both were served in pint glasses, however I got a frozen glass for the Pils. Just because it's yellow and fizzy doesn't mean it needs a frozen glass!!!

I'm scoring the atmosphere a "3" because I really don't like "sports bars." However if you're into that sort of thing, you'd probably like it. Tons of TVs line the walls and are tuned to a bunch of different sporting events.

Prices were pretty reasonable ($6.50 for a pint of I2PA). Service was good - not outstanding but not bad at all either. The food is fairly average southwestern/buffalo wings/pub grub type food, but it's pretty good for what it is. It's also pretty reasonably priced.

Overall, this is a pretty good destination. Not the best in Atlanta, but probably the best place to drink immediately around the Buford area.
