This location of Fred Meyer has opened a Beer and Wine Station in addition to adding a long cooler for Craft and Imported Beer. The Beer Station offers tastes, pints and growler fills from 12 taps. When I've visited, the selection included mostly Pacific Region brews as well as a couple ciders. I've enjoyed pints of Anderson Valley Wild Turkey Bourbon Barrel Stout and Caldera Salted Caramel Porter as well as tastes of several other styles. The large Craft Brew cooler offers mostly six or twelve packs but there is also a selection of bombers from US brewers and a variety of imports.
The tasting station has bar service with about a dozen seats as well as some tall tables. The store deli is immediately adjacent so it's easy to pick up some food as well. Unfortunately, Oregon prohibits removal of open containers from the station area so there is no strolling and shopping with a brew. There is ample parking in the lot out front and afternoon happy hour pricing.
