Note – several databases have an old address (I think it’s in the process of being corrected here). Corcoran was originally a combo vineyard and brewery. They moved the brewery to a new location and expanded the hours: 205 Hirst Rd, Suite 105, Purcellville, Va. 20132. The vineyard, with limited hours, remains at the original location.

The new location is very conveniently located adjacent to an Urgent Care Center! On our visit, they had 10 beers on tap. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The offer flights of 5 ($2 a piece I think). The beers we tried were all good, clean and within the style guidelines. The selection was solid: several IPAs & Stouts; a couple of lagers and a seasonal – nothing really weird.

It’s a very kid & dog friendly environment. We will return.

My Girlfriend surprised me with this place this past summer. The Brewery shares its land with a winery which happens to be owned by the same people just different company names. First off this place was a pretty simple place, it has a nice BBQ right outside the brewery for anyone that gets hungry. Its a "Mans-Man" BBQ roasting pigs and Ribs all that good stuff. Anyhow, you walk into the brewery and you enter sort of a bar that has about 5 to 6 people working. I got the beer samplers and drank everything they had during the summer. Because it was so long ago I can not remember them all or put up a honest review of the beers. But I do know that their Slainte Stout was great stuff. I tend to like stronger beers, this place seemed as if everything was to make Budlight taste better. If you are looking to do something with your wife or Girlfriend who likes wine, this would be a great place, because you can spend a a hour at the brew and another hour at the winery then end the day eating some BBQ by a nice quite lake.
