linkThis might be my new favorite brewpub, mostly because of the environment. It’s located in the middle of nowhere on a dirt road between Purcellville and Hillsboro. When you’re convinced that the dashboard GPS or Google Maps is giving you the wrong directions – that’s when you know you’re about there. It has a very casual roadhouse feel with a concrete floor and pine walls & ceiling. There’s often live music and food trucks or vendors. It’s a very kid & dog friendly environment. The owners are happy to engage and tell you what they’re doing and what they’re thinking about for the future.
During our visit there were 10 beers on tap. We tried the IPA, DIPA (at 9%), brown & porter. All were very good; no obvious flaws; and fit the style guidelines. They post the ABV and IBUs, which I always appreciate.
We will be back.
