Definitely a great place to hit after quitin' time. Beer selection is really good and the owner is always changing it up. Many special events have been held hear over the years with one of the most memorable in my case was the Stone Brewery event a while ago.

Like has been said before, the owner does go the extra mile to keep things interesting. After talking with him many times, I've come to think that this is a guy who really has a passion for great beer, and is willing to pour a lot of sweat and effort into making this a reality in the Tallahassee area.

Three downsides in my opinion: Being older, I don't really identify with the trendy club feel of the interior. I find that this caters to the younger crowd that starts to show up around 8PM or later.

Second while the selection is great and always changing, I would like to see a higher selection of lower gravity beers on tap. I personally would like to consume more "sessionable" beers over an evening, but I feel I can only have a few with many of the brews on tap getting into the higher ABVs. I understand this has been the trend of breweries in America, and I don't necessarily have a problem with that. But I feel there is a large selection of beers that can go by the wayside because of this mentality.

Lastly, this is more of a personal observation than anything and I understand the logistical problems in trying to change this, but I feel that on a slow evening, some or most beer on tap can a taste a little older. I believe that this has to do with the run of the beer lines from the kegs being so long. If you were to get a pint of beer on a slow or infrequently served tap, that you are mostly getting the beer that has been sitting in the lines. Also, I'm not sure how often the lines are cleaned, so I can't really give my opinion on that one. Again, I understand you have to make due with the logistics of what you have to work with. I've just noticed on a busy night or with a popular beer, the beer I get tastes much fresher than on other days.

I understand that I might be in the minority on most of this downsides I've listed, but that is the point of an honest opinion.

Overall I hardily recommend this establishment. Definitely going to find beers here on tap that you won't find anywhere else in town.

The best draft and bottle selection in the area. They have 28 taps with constantly changing brews. The owners go the extra mile to bring in new and unusual offerings. They recently added a beer engine and are are offering cask ales on selected nights. Lots of college students come here along with a range of beer people, but the under 30's dominate. The atmosphere tends to be quiet early on but picks up after 8 pm.
