Nice "Irish Pub," but this isn't really a beer destination. The company that opens these pubs does a great job on consistency with decent food, nice atmosphere, and some decent taps...just not anything particularly interesting. Guinness, Bass, Harp, Sam...you know the drill. I've heard they have a Bell's product from time to time, but not when I visited. These pubs seem to be most popular for happy hours and watching sports events.

My favorite Irish pub in the DC area. The selection of beers is above average (good blend of Irish (obvious), but the also have a selection of other imports / (true) microbrews, etc) -- the atmosphere is great! It reminds me of the pubs I visited in Ireland -- not too loud to hold a conversation, great bar layout, location close to the Metro. If you want a good, traditional Irish Pub with a very nice selection of beer, I recommend this place. Also, the food is above average ... the crab cakes are excellent (and so are the other appetizers).
