linkHad a coupon to check this place out, otherwise I would have avoided the suburban hell that is Flatirons. This is a chain of brewpubs, and they supposedly make their beer on site. Waiter was not very knowledgeable, but the beer was at the very least agreeable. The IPA was OK and the ABV was low, thus not providing the kick I hope to get out of a solid IPA. Food was average and the place is more suited for a family outing than a beer tasting extravaganza.

linkThis is another of my hangouts whenever I'm in Broomfield for work. It's proximity to my usual hotel and the fact I can walk makes it very convenient.
The beer selection includes a hefeweizen, amber ale, IPA, blonde ale, pale ale and porter. Seasonals and specialties round out the lineup. My last trip had a witbier on tap which was very flavorful. The IPA is my usual in the regular lineup.
Food runs the gamut from appetizers to sandwiches to steaks, seafood and other entrees. There should be something for everyone.
The restaurant is divided into a dining side and the bar side. The bar side offers a U-shaped bar, cocktail tables, several TV screens and a side room with pool tables. Atmosphere is typical for an American pub and can be noisy during busy times. Service has always been friendly and responsive.
