This is my go-to place when I want to rebuild (or add to) my cellar. It's just off the freeway and is a large store with nice parking. Selection of beer is quite large, most of the bombers and imports are warm, though. Macros (bud/miller/coors) take a good chunk of the available doors, along with Corona et al. Too bad.
Still, a very good selection with a mix-six option for a couple of doors. They usually have the seasonal goodies (although I didn't see Abyss).

Service is just above average. It seems each employee has a walkie-talkies (are they still called that?) so they can call the appropriate department with questions. Good wine and liquor selection.

Great selection, good prices, but otherwise so-so.

The best part first. Total carries a tremendous variety of beer. Lots of micros and many imports, as well as the usual macros fill the coolers here. Almost everything is available in singles and they discount the singles if you build a six pack. They even have a discount club. If you need a change of pace from beer, they have a very nice selection of wine and other liquor. If selection is what you're looking for, this is the place to be.

Service on the other hand, is only average. There were too few staff members. And the ones I encountered weren't particularly knowledgeable. Another down side, is that much of the beer is out on the floor rather than in the coolers. Most of the six packs seem to be kept cold, but many singles are sitting out on shelves and the cases were built into displays.
