't Brugs Beertje translates into the Brugges Bear. Before we made our trip to Belgium I researched the Brugges area quite a bit and this was named one of those "must visit" bars in Brugges. Boy was that right. This bar has a GREAT selection of beers. It is on a small alley just off of the main drag in Brugges. The bar is well marked. They have a small bar and seating area in the front. We were lucky to get a table in the front to sample a lot of great belgians that can't be found in the USA. I would strongly recommend trying Bellegems bruin if you haven't and like bruin's. If you only have time for one bar in Brugges, this is it. If you have time for two stop here and at De Garre (another well recommended and small bar with a great selection). I would recommend taking the train from Brussels if that is your home base. We were having so much fun bar hopping in Brugge that we almost missed the last train back to Brussels.
