The Dig is a great local watering hole reminiscent of the places you find in the good beer cities like Portland or San Francisco. The rotating taps keep things interesting and the standing ones are all interesting tastes, save one. I do not understand why the have Trumer Pils on tap.

The staff is friendly and knowledgable and the food is outstanding and well paired. Everynight there is a different beer special.

The only other possible downside is the hours. For those of us who enjoy a lazy afternoon, the hours are somewhat restrictive.

Warm & friendly, the Dig Pub is the best craft draft beer source in the northwest suburbs of Austin.

The owners always have something new to offer on the 23 taps (last count) every week and have a core set of "always on" beers plus rotating specialty beers. While focusing on the better breweries in Texas, there are also great beers from all over rotating through. There are a limited number of bottles that rotate over time.

Food is largely sandwiches and pizza, and while selection is limited the fare is quite good.

Regular prices are lower than you will find closer into town and happy hour and special prices are even lower.

This place keeps the suburbanites from finding the need to head "into town" to satisfy our craft beer desires.

Small, intimate pub with a welcoming "Cheers" feel. A lot of regulars.
Interior is more like a coffee house then a bar, but that just adds to the feel.

Nice selection of micro-brews on tap, focusing on local Texas breweries.
Recently added a small selection of bottled imports.
Good "happy hour" (4-7pm Mon.-Fri) where most pints are 1/2 price.

Food is good, but limited. Mostly toasted sandwiches and a couple of appetizers.

They have music/entertainment Thursday-Saturday, of which the quality can vary greatly.
