linkThis small craft brewery is a real treasure. We had a hard time finding it because it is located in the rear basement unit that “fronts” on a gravel road (Virginia St). We asked around and didn’t get much help but DD kept poking around until we saw a sign for Chattanooga U-Brew which is associated with Moccasin Bend. There is a gravel lot out back and you enter through the only door. The real give away was the bumper sticker – “I brew the beer I drink” We found Chris Hunt hunched over the kettle, brewing a fresh batch. There is a small tasting area and we were able to sample Juniper Pale Ale from the tap and Smoky Mountain Porter from a bottle. Both were delicious.
