I passed this building on the north shore of Chattanooga and was interested to stop in when I saw its advertisement of craft beer. Heaven and Ale is a short two-story gray brick building with a gravel parking lot. Their black and white logo is on the side of the building. They opened mid 2013 and their focus is just beer, with a motto of "Beer Elevated". They do not have a kitchen but do sell pretzels as a snack. The atmosphere is casual and subdued. The floors are wooden, the ceiling is painted black, and the white walls are decorated with colorful artwork for sale. It's not a big place, and there are just a few high top tables. They have a rectangular walk up concrete bar with 24 craft beers on tap, a good mix of local and national crafts. Their main business is growler fills, and they sell both regular and half size growlers at a great price. The beer can also be had by glass, or the wonderful option of a four beer sampler flight. The service is friendly and very knowledgeable about their beers. It is a great place if you're seeking to try a new beer.
