linkDuke's Maui is located adjacent to the far north end of the "boardwalk" that runs along the Kaanapali shoreline. There is an entrance to the main patio from the boardwalk but the main entrance is on the southeast corner. Just inside, the bar area is small with a short U-shaped bar with additional tall table seating on the adjacent bar patio. There are about a half dozen taps that usually include a good array of local Hawaiian brews as well as a couple BMCs. I enjoyed both Duke's Blond and a Nui Hapa Brown.
The multi-level dining room is just past the bar and and it overlooks the main patio with umbrella table seating. The menu is pretty typical of Hawaiian hotel restaurants including an array of tropical theme pupus, salads, sandwiches (lunch), and entrees. There is a separate pupus and sandwich menu in the bar. Hula Pie (what the sailors swam ashore for) is Duke's feature desert. Parking is available around the adjacent Honua Kai Resort but you have to walk through the lobby and pool areas so it's easier to come in on the boardwalk.
