linkWas at Fort Drum visiting some of my coworkers and was taken to this brew pub for lunch. I promptly went off the clock and had a flight. They were out of several of their regular brews and as I was there on 1 November I have to assume that Halloween was a thirsty night for the troops of the 10th Mountain Division. There were only 4 beers in the flight but I didn't complain since a flight was only $2. Of the four that I tried, only one was in the moderate to good category. It was Buster's Canadian Light. The 3 were a dunkle, a red ale and a bittersweet porter. All had a sour note and were not that distinguishable one from another.
The food and service was good and my local contact told me that he had never had a bad meal at Buster's. Their home brewed root beer is good too.
Please note that this location is on an active US Army base and that ID is required at the front gate.
